Strip, cluster or pre-bonded lashes: choosing a wholesale range

These terms describe different formats and application approaches. A useful comparison starts with your customer’s routine and the specifications of the individual product.

Strip lashes: compare the finished style

Strip lashes group the fibers along a band. For a retail range, compare the visible shape, length distribution, density, curl and band appearance. Decide whether your assortment needs a natural look, a defined outer corner or more volume. Ask whether adhesive is included or must be purchased separately. Do not infer reusable life, material or comfort from a style name; confirm those details for the exact product.

Cluster lashes: compare the tray and lash map

Clusters divide the look into smaller sections that customers arrange. Check how many pieces are supplied, the available lengths, the grouping of fibers and the intended placement method. A tray may mix several lengths or contain one specification. Clarify the count per tray and the instructions supplied with the product. Ask what adhesive and remover, if any, are intended for the format rather than assuming compatibility.

Pre-bonded formats: confirm the complete system

Pre-bonded products include an adhesive component or bonding feature as part of the format. The exact construction and use instructions vary. Ask about application, removal, packaging protection and storage conditions for the product you are evaluating. Request documentation relevant to your destination market. Avoid advertising an unverified wear time, waterproof claim, safety claim or suitability for sensitive users.

Compare commercial units consistently

A pair, a tray and a box are different units. Record the product code, pieces or pairs per unit, units per carton, minimum order and packaging type before comparing prices. Confirm whether a displayed price is fixed, a starting price, a range or a request-for-quote label. Quantities, specifications and custom packaging can affect a quotation. Use the same brief when comparing alternatives.

Build a focused assortment and test it

Start with a few distinct customer needs rather than several near-identical looks. Use clear product photos and approved instructions in your own catalog. Order and evaluate samples before committing to a larger branded range. When contacting AOJIE, send the product codes you are considering, your destination and the quantity per style. Our team can then discuss the available specifications and packaging options for your brief.
